Upholstery manufacturer G Plan has appointed The Market Creative as its retail design agency and has tasked it with helping it create 'the ultimate shopping experience' for customers.

The Manchester-based design agency was originally briefed to conduct research into the behaviour of shoppers and map their journey through furniture stores which feature G Plan products. Following the conclusion of this project, The Market Creative was then assigned the tasked of developing a creative strategy tp drive the brand's positioning and create a new retail concept.

The first store to open as a result of this task will be in Bristol in the coming week, which will then roll-out across the nation throughout next year.

based on insight, intuition and carefully gleaned information derived from the entire shopping journey, so the G Plan brief is perfect for us. We looked at several areas to deliver the shopping strategy, including store personality, customer education and communication.
