Freight brings in Henderson as strategic marketing manager

Laura Henderson, digital marketing manager for Prudential has joined Glasgow design agency Freight as strategic marketing manager.

Henderson joins to replace John McDonald who left in September to become Communications Director at the Canadian Centre for Architecture (CCA) in Montreal.

She spent two years in her role at Prudential on its UK consumer facing business where she worked to increase its exposure through digital marketing.

Her responsibilities will include providing strategic marketing consultancy for clients and driving Freight’s business development strategy.

Henderson said, “I’m delighted to have joined Freight. I was extremely impressed by its creative work and I am excited about being a part of such a talented, productive and dynamic team. I enjoyed my time at Prudential very much, but felt it was a good time for me to come back to the world of marketing services.”

Adrian Searle, director of Freight, added: “Laura has an excellent combination of strategic marketing skills, honed in demanding client-side environments, and a deep understanding of the design process. We’re delighted to add her considerable abilities to the Freight team.”
