Digital agency TH_NK has appointed Lynne Davidson as managing director as founder Tarek Nseir becomes chief executive.

Davidson joins the business having previously served as head of retail and media consulting for Conchango for over eight years and will be based in London, but will also regularly travel to the Newcastle office and will be responsible for the development of commercial growth, developing new and existing client relationships, and support client service director Louise Holland with the growth and develops of the account management team in London.

Nseir explained that the appointment was made following new accounts for LG and Anthroplogie being picked up by the agency and allow him to focus on helping clients with their digital strategies.

“We’ve had an interesting challenge over the last two years in terms of growth where client engagement would often distract from the operation of the business. This appointment will allow me to be able to take aspects of the business forward while Lynne focuses on managing our growth. She also brings an awful lot of experience and that will start to bear fruit in terms of client engagement too,” continued Nseir.

Davidson commented: “I’m really looking forward to embracing exciting new challenges at TH_NK and leading the team to achieve even more success, both nationally and internationally. The company has a truly unique way of working and I can’t wait to get started.”

Last month, TH_NK also appointed Nick Betts as project director, who joined the company with ‘Big 4’ consulting experience from Accenture and PriceWaterHouseCoopers.

Matt Theakston has also joined as a user-experience designer, and Stephen Thompson, as a test analyst.
