The Drum has learned that recently liquidated Glasgow digital agency 2Fluid Creative has been replaced by a new company, 2Fluid Digital.

The agency was wound up at the beginning of September after a petition was presented to the Court of Session by the Advocate General for Scotland, which saw 2Fluid Creative wound up by the court, which would go on to appoint a liquidator for the Glasgow-digital agency.

A spokesperson explained that while founder Jacqueline Doherty (pictured) was out of the country, 2Fluid Creative suffered “some financial difficulties” which led to the creation of a new company with new investors called 2Fluid Digital.

Through the launch of the new company, a new management structure has been created and the 2Fluid Creative staff have been retained.

“The new company is bigger, better and stronger – working with some exciting new customers including BrightSolid, Graven Images and Harris Tweed and Jacqueline looks forward to being back in Glasgow again,” said the spokesperson.

At the time of writing The Drum was waiting to hear who the new directors were and find out whether the company was continuing to work with Scottish brewer Tennent's as its digital agency.

Prior to 2Fluid, Doherty co-founded the Reality Group, one of Scotland's first internet companies. When it was sold for £35m, she put her shares of the profit into starting 2FluidCreative in 2001.

Doherty also recently featured on the BBC's Last Millionaire show.
