Pop star Cheryl Cole has launched her new website www.cherylcole.com to support the launch of her debut solo album. The site was developed and designed by Birmingham's Clusta.

Going live on 19 October, to coincide with the launch of the singer’s debut single; Fight for this love, the site aims to complete Cheryl Cole’s official branding as a solo artist and will allow users to post their own comments on the official Polydor content.

www.cherylcole.com will feature pictures by the renowned fashion photographer Nick Knight, which will take centre-stage throughout the site, showcasing Cheryl’s status as a style icon. In addition fans will be able to click through to online fashion retailers to buy clothing that will help them to recreate Cheryl’s look.

Katheryn Sutcliffe, director of client services at Clusta commented: “As Cheryl launches her solo career the site will help to build her individual brand, giving fans access to official content and supporting her image as a fashion icon.”

Aaron Bogucki, senior digital campaign manager at Polydor, added: “Clusta has created a beautiful site, with each detail reflecting Cheryl’s personality. It will provide a new source of information for Girls Aloud fans and also attract new Cheryl fans. Therefore it is essential that Cheryl’s communications show that she will stay true to her position in the band as well as creating her own solo identity, and Clusta has created a site which does just that.”
