Big Communications' first work for Holland & Barrett since it was appointed to handle the retailer's ad account breaks today. Watch it here.

The TV ad, which breaks today, features former Blue Peter presenter Gethin Jones and promotes Holland & Barrett's 'buy one get one half price' offer.

In the spot, Jones talks to shoppers, demonstrates product ranges and delivers information about prices and the knowledge of the staff, before finishing with the message: “You wouldn’t get that anywhere else”.

Holland & Barrett's director of trading, Phil Geary, said: “The idea is a strong platform on which we can deliver everything from our value proposition to the unique levels of knowledge and advice offered by our staff.”

This first spot will run in 30 and 10 second formats on terrestrial and satellite channels and the retailer will continue with the message in further ads which will promote its range of products including sports supplements and slimming products.

Leicester-based Big landed the account after the retailer dropped WCRS in August and held a pitch for the account.
