GH. Sheldon Wholesale Bakers has recently completed a rebrand process undertaken by The Market Creative.

The Manchester-based design agency has developed a new brand identity and focused on the family values and tradition of the company.

This will now run across the packaging of the client’s signature offering, the Lancashire Oven Bottom Muffin. The branding will also be placed on the full range of fresh morning goods and hot plate products as well as the company’s delivery fleet.

The agency has also used photography to create differentiation in the marketplace and sepia tones of the colour palette are included to reinforce the company’s heritage.

Sue Benson, managing director at The Market Creative says: “G.H. Sheldon is one of the nation’s much loved baking brands but the company’s passion and pride simply didn’t translate onto the packaging. With amazing heritage and values the story was just crying out to be told. The rebrand has included incorporating one of the G.H. Sheldon family into each of its 10 key product lines, which draws your eye to the product on fiercely competitive shelves. With over 100 million oven bottom muffins, buns and baps going through the tills every year, G.H. Sheldon Wholesale Bakers Ltd will soon be a brand everyone can recognise.”
