Holland and Barratt has appointed its £7million advertising account to Big Communications.

The agency has been appointed following a pitch which was overseen by Phil Geary, director of Trading at Holland and Barratt following the client's split with WCRS last month.

The Leicester-based agency will first be tasked with creating a TV campaign featuring former Blue Peter present Gethin Jones which will launch mid-October.

Geary, said “We are confident that the new TV campaign will help us achieve sales targets over the next 12 months. It is refreshing to be able to work with such a vibrant agency and I look forward to a successful partnership with Big Communications.”

John Sanders, CEO of Big Communications, explained: “The TV introduces a fresh approach for the brand and we’ll be looking to take this through all elements of the new work.”
