Big Communications has created a campaign to promote Leicester's bid to stage matches if England is picked to host the 2018 football World Cup.

Posters feature Gary Lineker, the Leicester-born former England striker, showing his support for the city's bid.

The campaign aims to get local people to visit the England 2018 website and select Leicester as their city of choice to host games.

Leicester-based Big created the campaign's logo, poster designs and other promotional material, and handled all of the photography.

The 6, 48 and 96 sheet posters will be appearing around the city during September.

Dylan Bogg, Big's executive creative director, said “This was a fantastic one to work on. We’re delighted with the finished posters. They really demonstrate the enthusiasm Leicester has to be a part of World Cup 2018."
