Axis works on Rogue Warrior trailer
Glasgow animation studio Axis has created a launch trailer for the upcoming video game Rogue Warrior.
The agency was handed the brief by the game's publisher, Bethesda, and the agency AKQA.
Rogue Warrior is a first-person shooter, featuring the voice of Mickey Rourke. Axis said the trailer “shows off the ruthless, explosive nature of the game's hero in all its visceral glory”.
Axis director Wiek Luijken worked with the creative team at AKQA to create a film that embodies the branded look for the game. Watch it here.
Luijken, working in conjunction with AKQA's creatives, has also directed a teaser for another new game, Brink. The teaser features a single shot realised completely in CGI.
