Bowmore has launched a new brand film through Stingray Productions and in-house web developer Ewan Morgan.

The distillery posted the film onto its Facebook page along with a message that read: "Hope you all like this as you're the 1st to see it!"

Morgan said to The Drum: "We wanted to create a brand film that showed off the stunning beauty of not only Islay but the Journey along the West Coast of Scotland to the island. We had many hours of outstanding footage that was just sitting down at our production offices in Soho and really wanted to give it a platform.

"We're all very happy with the result and the response we've had since we premièred it on Facebook this week has been tremendous! We have a great following on the social media site and continually run exclusive competitions for our Facebook friends. We have just finished a photography competition that received an overwhelming amount of entrants and the winner, Debora Douma from the Netherlands, received a signed bottle of limited edition Bowmore by the distillery manager."

The film will be used at the distillery as well as in Duty Free and also on the Bowmore.com website.
