A new exhibition was launched in Birmingham last week to promote some of the design work going on in the West Midlands.

Host by digital design agency Clusta at the Vaults in the Jewellery Quarter of the city, Sample is an exhibition with will look to showcase bespoke work by some of the regions top creatives, varying from graphic design and photography through to illustration and typography.

Daniel Westwood, founder of Sample and designer for Clusta and Family has launched the exhibition as they look to make it a bi-annual showcase and networking event for the West Midlands’ creative industry.

At the launch, six designers showcased their work – Alex Acosta from Indelible, Daniel Westwood from Family, Joe Mitchelmore, Matt Clugston and Steve Ellis from Clusta and Martin Donnelly from Mezzetty.

Westwood explained: “Sample aims to bring together the very best creatives from the area, not only to showcase work but to communicate and socialise with each other, placing Birmingham on the map as the city where combined creativity thrives.”
