Leeds communications agency Turn Key has appointed Magnitude's Jude Turner as head of digital.

Turner has been in the industry for five years and spent the last two and half years at Magnitude working on accounts including Wagamama, Land Rover, D&AD London and M&Ms.

Nik Entwistle, managing director of Turn Key, said: “Jude’s appointment is another strategic decision for Turn Key. In the midst of a recession we cannot become complacent and need to ensure that each of the disciplines we offer are the strongest they can possibly be.

"Her experience is a massive strength for us and will really enhance our digital offering. We are delighted to have her on board.”

Talking about the challenge ahead, Turner said: "Online no longer belongs to the young and technically-savvy alone. It is the place where vast and varying demographics search for ideas on how to spend their leisure pounds, find businesses to work with and communicate with friends and family.

"Ignoring its importance as a marketing tool is a thing of the past and creating informative, entertaining and original content, which can be appreciated on multiple platforms, is the challenge and ambition of all good, creative agencies.”
