S&N UK appoints Smarts to handle Tiger Beer trade PR

Scottish & Newcastle (S&N UK) has appointed the trade communications for Tiger Beer to Smarts.

The Glasgow, Edinburgh and Manchester based PR consultancy has been tasked by S&N with growing the Tiger Brand’s profile and ‘share of voice’ in the trade media while also clarifying its position within the company’s lager portfolio.

Smarts has worked S&N UK’s trade PR since 1996 with lagers such as Foster’s and Heineken.

Laura Mitchell, assistant brand Manager for S&N UK, said:“Smarts put forward an excellent proposal for PR support for Tiger. We are confident the team will deliver the same high standards of activity as they do with the rest of our portfolio and will help to position Tiger as one of the leading premium world beers in the UK market.”

The account will be headed up by Fergus Reid, director of Smarts.
