Hula Hoops online ad creative handled by InboxDMG

An online advertising campaign for Hula Hoops by United Biscuits is to roll out this month with creative handled by InboxDMG.

The campaign will be an extention of the current £1.2million integrated campaign across TV, online, PR and in-store which uses the Hula Hoops as finger puppets.

Media planning and buying will be handled by Media Edge.

The Bristol-based digital agency has already created the campaign website which allows consumers to create their own Hula Hoop finger puppet videos and upload them online.

The site is being seeded through its sister agency Viralnet, the viral seeing division of the Digital Marketing Group.

Nicki Allen, group brand manager for Hula Hoops, commented: “This fun campaign highlights the uniqueness of the Hula Hopps shape and proves that you simply can’t resist playing with them.”

Matt Ramsay, managing direct of InboxDMG, explained: “We’ve harnessed the online channel to create a fun Hula Hoop experience that engages he consumer with the brand by encouraging them to get creative through generating their own Hula Hoops content.”
