A TV spot created by The Gate Films and motion graphic and VFX house Once Were Farmers is set to roll out on MTV for mobile phone brand Samsung to promote its new Beat

The 20” ad, which features a giant CGI finger DJ’ing at a festival, highlights the new music phone and an accompanying competition to win festival passes.

The spot reflects the feel of both of the Samsung adverts currently running including a large CGI finger and an emphasis on music and music festivals in association with T-Mobile.

The spots were directed by Rory Lowe and Tom Shrapnel from The Gate Films (better known simply as Tom and Rory) and will run on MTV and MTV Europe.
