Blumilk to produce flagship Cumbria holiday guide

North East design and marketing company Blumilk has been appointed by Cumbria Tourism to produce its 2010 flagship Holiday Guide.

Blumilk based in Newcastle was up against six other design agencies in the pitch for the account.

Ian Hawkins, domestic marketing manager at Cumbria Tourism, said: “The Holiday Guide is the flagship guide for people looking to book a break in the Lake District, Cumbria. It is important that the guide is regularly refreshed to ensure that it continues to do its job of attracting both new and repeat visitors to the area every year.

“We were impressed with Blumilk’s approach and their extensive track record in the tourism sector and look forward to working with them on the 2010 Holiday Guide.”

The team at Blumilk are now beginning work on the 120 page guide in time for distribution at the beginning of 2010.
