The full list of agencies appointed to the Manchester Airports Group (MAG) roster, the UK giant whose portfolio includes Manchester, Bournemouth, East Midlands and Humberside airports, has been revealed.

The roster, which originally had more than 30 agencies allocated to it, has been reviewed and reduced following a recent pitch.

Among the seven appointed agencies (both new and incumbents) is TBWA\Manchester, who will "drive consistency across the Group with a focus on the core brand and value messages of Manchester Airports Group".

Other agencies on the roster include WRG Group, Fox Kalomaski, BJL, Cogent Elliot, Origination and RLA Group, with APS Group having been appointed to manage all print.

Work is expected to span outdoor, DM, posters, brochures, POS, internal communications and online.

It kicks off immediately with TBWA\Manchester being tasked with assisting the launch of the ‘new’ Manchester Airport and its customer experience transformation, particularly within flagship terminal, T1.

With the Manchester Airports Group CSR policy expected to be at the heart of all communications, TBWA will also be working to create brand activity across all portfolio airports, from Community Relations through to Airfield Operations.

Sarah Barrett, head of group customer experience at MAG, commented: “Here at MAG, we aim to stay ahead of the competition by easing the customer journey, through innovation, fun and continuous customer improvement.

"We wanted a leaner and more focused agency roster with which to push those aims, providing work that is highly creative and consistent across the whole Group.”

Fergus McCallum, CEO of TBWA\Manchester, added: “A great brand to be partnering with, Manchester Airports Group has such a huge presence in the UK.

"The team here is looking forward to getting stuck in and creating work that helps to strengthen this presence whilst keeping the brand consistent across all of its airports and varied offerings.”

Manchester Airport is the UK’s largest regional airport and currently handles 20 million passengers a year, offering direct flights to over 180 destinations worldwide by over 90 airlines with 300 tour operators.
