Seafood authority Seafish has appointed 3x1 to deliver maximum media exposure and value for money for the seafood industry through the use of PR.

The agency has already begun to build awareness of Seafish’ health drive.

Julie McGarvey, co-founder of 3x1, which has worked with Seafish since 2004, said: “It was an extremely tough pitch and we’re thrilled to be staying on board working on a wider multi-media brief including public affairs and stakeholder engagement.

“While we are passionate about the popular ‘2 a week’ and national Fish & Chip Shop of the Year campaigns, we will focus more on a value driven comms strategy with the industry to reinforce Seafish’s position as the authority on seafood. The advent of the Marine Bill is an ideal platform for communicating that the UK industry is 100% committed to creating a sustainable future.”

3x1 has been working on the client's

promotional campaign alongside White Light Media

which has been retained its lead design agency. Urban Niche Social has also been retained for social media networking.
