442 Design has completed the interior design for the latest PizzaExpress restaurant to open in Edinburgh on George iV Bridge.

The restaurant is the sixth the company has opened in the city. Neil Barnes, head of design at Pizza Express said: "The new PizzaExpress restaurant on George IV Bridge is in a great location in the heart of Edinburgh. All of our restaurants are designed to be unique while incorporating our signature pizzaiolo counter, lighting and marble surfaces. This latest restaurant in Edinburgh looks great and will prove very popular with both residents and visitors to the city".

Head of interiors at 442 Design Kevin Rettie added: "We have taken the overall PizzaExpress architecture and added our own dashes of detail and identity that make it slightly different. In this instance we have played on some characteristic Edinburgh themes and given them a modern twist."

The restaurant is the latest in a series of designs 442 has completed for PizzaExpress which includes restaurants in Sampson Square, York and Jesmond Newcastle.
