The Gate Films is working alongside motion graphic and VFX house Once Were Farmers to create a spot for MTV and an as yet to be announced mobile phone brand to promote the company’s new phone.

The production companies are creating a 20 second spot which will be added onto cut down versions of the brand’s current TV campaign.

Once Were Farmers is creating the CGI animation for the project which saw the companies given a fairly open brief, being tasked to create a spot to promote the new phone which will be launched in the coming weeks.

The spot will look to reflect the feel of both of the brand’s adverts which are currently running which will include an emphasis on music festivals and is being directed by Rory Lowe and Tom Shrapnel from The Gate Films (better known simply as Tom and Rory.)

The spots will run on MTV and MTV Europe once completed at the end of the month.
