MTV, Nissan and Nike commercial production firm bolsters director's credentials with new signings.

Freelance director and photographer Jack Cole has worked in the UK, Belgium and Germany on campaigns for Panasonic, Tesco and the Coca Cola group. He was once one half of the director duo LIFF.

Writer-director Ben Woolf's work spans theatre, film, TV and online production. His credits include the viral musical commercial 'Unexpected Performance' for Lastminute.com, which won a young directors award at this year's Cannes Lion Festival. In the role of directors' representative, Verity Casey will be responsible for securing commercial commissions for Pulse's roster of directors. She previously held the same role at Rogue Films and has worked for advertising agencies Fallon, AIS and M&C Saatchi. Roz Houchin, head of advertising at Pulse Films, said: "Jack’s combination of photographic visuals with left-field humour, and Ben’s genre-spanning writing and directing experience will build on the fantastic wealth of talent we have on offer. "We are also delighted to have Verity on board, and we know that she will bring her talents to the table in her new role, helping the company to grow further.” Pulse FIlms' advertising work includes commercials for MTV, Nike, Nationwide and Nissan.
