Following a three-way-pitch, dance company Scottish Dance Theatre has appointed Merchant Soul to handle its design requirements.

The Glasgow based agency will work with Scottish Dance Theatre to provide design that aims to translate the contemporary dance performances at the Edinburgh Fringe Festival. Merchant Soul has also been tasked with designing the tour programme, which will take the company throughout the UK in September.

Stephen Halpin, managing director of Merchant Soul, commented: 'We were lucky enough to get a preview of one of the two dances being taken to the festival. The performance was stunning and visually incredibly arresting. We are delighted that SDT believe our designs have been able to communicate this.”
