Irwin’s, Northern Ireland’s largest independent local bakery, has launched its first new TV campaign for 10 years through Ardmore Advertising in Belfast.

The commercial showcases a range of products from under the Irwin’s brand during a number of carefully choreographed vignettes of family life.

The ad was shot to the track “that’s the way” by KC and The Sunshine Band and forms part of a wider campaign to re-affirm Irwin’s status as the brand leader as others look to increase their market share in Northern Ireland.

Stephen Roycroft, board account director at Ardmore said: “Still family owned, Irwin’s has always been a brand with family values and strong nutritional benefits at its heart. “Bring home the goodness” is embodied through out the different homes in the creative; each using the products the way they like it.”

The commercial was created by creative director Larry McGarry and directed by Simon Lewis of the Gate Films.
