Accountants and business advisers, Tenon, has relaunched its website through Tayburn.

The brief from Tenon, which is the UK’s ninth largest accountancy and business advice practice, came about as a consequence of its desire to exercise greater control over the communication of industry related information and the marketing of its services to existing and prospective clients.

Following a four-way pitch, Tayburn won the work which forms part of a wider strategy to highlight Tenon’s credentials as an expert in providing specialist services to entrepreneurs.

Having undergone a major redesign, the website now offers a dedicated resource centre, offering advice on business and legislative changes, while Tenon service line marketing managers can respond immediately to business and market changes with site news, advice and information using the site’s content management system.

Tayburn also set up a web analytics facility for Tenon to examine visitor behaviour and evaluate the performance of specific marketing initiatives, such as email campaigns and regional seminars.

The origins of Tayburn’s relationship with Tenon date back to 2003 when the agency was brought in to help with the firm’s positioning. In 2004, Tayburn launched Tenon’s new identity. Since then, Tayburn has continued to work with Tenon across a number of projects on its brand differentiation, the strategy of which has most recently been implemented in the firm’s ‘advisers to entrepreneurs’ campaign and its annual report.

“What was needed was a comprehensive system that would allow visitors access to detailed advice and informed opinion on all aspects of their business quickly and efficiently”, added Andy Raynor, chief executive of Tenon. “What Tayburn delivered was a website that really has these people in mind, providing information when they need it whilst communicating the ethos of our business.”
