Barbecue brand Weber has launched a new website to reinforce its brand proposition Barbecues for Life, created by Coolpink.

The new site uses Flash development as it looks to be engaging and use online creative to convey a professional, modern and informative site to promote the Weber brand and its range of products.

A digital marketing strategy will targets Weber’s community database and potential new customers via Pay Per Click, Search Engine Optimisation, email marketing and social networking.

An iPhone recipe application will also be used to encourage more use of BBQ’s.

Laura Clamp, marketing manager for Weber, commented: This is a key part of our overall marketing strategy and we feel that we are now well equipped to maximise our brand exposure, reach our target audience and build our online community. We will be investing more in this area in the future and are thrilled to be continuing our partnership with Coolpink in the long term.

The agency has also been appointed to manage online experience as part of Webers ongoing marketing strategy and aims to launch a new community section later in the year with a focus on user generated content. This will be a Members Only section which will include events, competitions, readers recipes and ratings, videos, email and twitter feed, accompanied by seasonal digital marketing campaigns.
