Story has created the ‘Every penny is beautiful’ campaign which covers a variety of media; online, interactive surface technology, video, POS, direct mail and goodie bags.

The agency was briefed to capitalise on the natural fit between the First Direct brand and the profile of the estimated 105,000 visitors to Grand Designs Live.

Dave Mullen, creative director at Story, commented: "It was essential to create a campaign that reaches out to people with a passion for innovative home design. Visitors to Grand Designs Live 2009 will be surrounded by the best in cutting edge design, so it was vital that our creative execution looked beautiful as well as reinforcing First Direct's offset Mortgage as a very innovative product.”
