Frame appointed by Government to Scottish Natural Heritage

Scottish Natural Heritage has appointed Frame to handle the account for Scotland’s National Nature Reserves following a creative pitch against The Leith Agency, Merle, Story and Golley Slater.

Following its appointment, Frame will look to creates a great public awareness and enjoyment of the suite of 58 National Nature Reserves in Scotland, and the role of Scottish Natural Heritage and partner bodies in looking after these special places, through a two-stage campaign spanning outdoor, digital and social media.

SNH is the body which is responsible for protecting Scotland’s nature and landscapes.

The account is the Glasgow agency’s first win from the Scottish Government’s

Marketing Services Framework contract.

Kenneth Fowler, head of communicationsfor SNR, said; “Frame’s tender submission was very well rounded and we are excited about working with them, particularly as this will be the first advertising campaign we have ever run for National Nature Reserves.”

Gary O’Donnell, commercial director at Frame commented; “SNH is a special organisation, and the National Nature Reserves have to be just about the best product in the world, if you can call them a product.”

In other news The Drum understands that agencies on the Framework Contract are discussing with the Scottish Government changes to the appointment process.

A spokesperson for the Scottish Government, said: “We are happy to listen to the views of the Agencies about how the quality of tendering of the business can be improved.”
