David Crawford, former director at BJL has joined the board of design consultancy ininc, taking an equity partnership in the process.

Crawford is to reteam with Nicola Edmonson, creative partner at the agency for the third time having previously worked alongside her at The Tyas Design Company, and more recently former Principles agency Pilot Interactive.

Crawford has also previously work with McCann Erickson and Twentysix Leeds.

BJL announced Crawford's departure last month having joined in November 2007 from Twentysix Leeds where he was deputy MD.

Crawford said of his move: "I am extremely excited to be working with Nicola again. She is without doubt the most talented designer I have ever worked with across branding, packaging and print. I am particularly excited about the future at ininc as, during these difficult economic times, with budgets being restricted and the marketing pound needing to generate an ever greater return, most clents need a level of quality and certainty that can only really be achieved by a highly specialised and experienced consultancy which is able to be nimble, flexible and above all, creatively focused.”

Edmondson commented: “David’s marketing communications, client service and commercial experience will be a real benefit to ininc as we develop and grow our current design portfolio and as we extend our offer into other communications disciplines.”
