New brand for IPL's Deccan Chargers by Navyblue

Deccan Chargers, the Indian Premier League cricket team, has a new global brand for the new season, created by Navyblue.

The brand was unveiled at the weekend when the Chargers won its opening match of the second season of the IPL - billed the world's richest cricket league.

After competing in the inaugural season last year, the Chargers wanted to 'refresh its brand communications' for the new campaign.

Navyblue's work includes the brand itself - which as well as appearing on the team's kits will also be applied across all media platforms including advertising - and a new fanzine and refreshed website.

For younger fans, the agency created mascot Charlie the Charger, which has its own portal and fanzine.
