The National Museum of Flight has appointed Edinburgh based advertising agency Mightysmall to create a multimedia advertising campaign to promote its existing attractions.

Following a competitive pitch, the agency will create a campaign to raise awareness of the Museum’s attractions such as The Concorde Experience and two new exhibits opening this month.

One of the new exhibitions to open will be Fantastic which is designed for family visits with a mix of interactive exhibits which showcase the wonder of flight.

Fortunes of War is the other new exhibition which will tell the story of the site from its early years as an airship base through two world wars and the Cold War.

Tamsin Ansdell director at Mightysmall, explained: “The museum is relaunching with completely new exhibitions and features added to their existing offering. We wanted to give them a campaign which would both inspire a new audience and excite their already established audience.”

Jane Ferguson, head of marketing & communications, continued: “In the last three years, we have focussed on Concorde as the ‘hero’ of the site but these two new exhibitions really enhance the day out appeal.”
