Mason Williams has strengthened its senior team with the return of Jen Dutton from Weber Shandwick, who will now take the Deputy MD role.

Dutton left Mason Williams after seven years to take up position of group account direct at Weber Shandwick but following a year that has seen five new account wins for Mason Williams, she has returned to the company.

Joint MD Rita Rowe said: “Financially 2008 was our most successful year to date, obviously we are now in a much more difficult economic climate but we strongly believe strengthening our senior team adds real value to our clients and will ensure we weather any stormy waters.

“Whilst the next 12 months will be undoubtedly tough for our industry as a whole, we are in robust shape for these challenging times.”

Said Dutton: “Weber Shandwick is the fourth agency I’ve worked for and it was an interesting time. However, as a consumer lifestyle PR through and through, I couldn’t resist the opportunity to work again on some of the UK’s best known and best loved brands. I think it is fair to say Mason Williams is my spiritual home.”

Dutton will work alongside Gawen Higgins in the role of Joint Deputy MD.
