Family expects Dunfermline BS to honour contract

Edinburgh advertising agency Family has said that it fully expects the Dunfermline Building Society to fulfil its deal with the agency following the financial firm's takeover by Nationwide.

Speaking to The Drum, Ian Wright, managing director of Family, said: “We do not envisage any changes at the agency at the moment and we are currently completing some work for Dunfermline Building Society and fully expect them to honour their contract with us.”

Wright said that he wished to set the record straight ahead of rumours being circulated within the industry - and added that the agency was ‘in good shape’ with ‘two significant pitches’ ahead in the near future along with some new client contracts.

Dunfermline Building Society had been a long standing client for Family having been taken on from the director’s previous agency Yellow M in 2002.
