Navyblue seeks MD for South Africa Office

Navyblue is currently seeking an MD for its business in South Africa, The Drum has learned as it looks to fill other roles within the international business.

Navyblue currently has four offices, one of which is in Johannesburg for which it is seeking someone to lead its team.

The company is also seeking a planner for its Edinburgh office, an account manager for Budapest while it is also in discussions with current “senior people” to support the work being done there.

The board of Navyblue is also looking to offer staff incentives for long-term loyalty and has opened a window for share trading. As a result, several members of Navyblue have decided to invest in the company, althogu the company said that details of this will remain confidential.

Meanwhile, the agency has just been been reappointed to continue to work with Soccerex which it has done since 2005.

The company has been re-appointed to continue to help develop the brand on an international footing , particularly with South Africa and the lead-up to the 2010 soccer world cup. Navyblue will continue to help the Soccerex brand develop further and when it moves to its next destination, once the host country is confirmed.

The agency recently clarified the recent senior management positions and their responsibilities within Navyblue while confirming the departure of its finance director Julie-Anne Afrin.
