GRP has won a pitch for Men who have Sex with Men, a sexual health initiative of Greater Glasgow and Clyde NHS Trust.

After producing three years' worth of provocative social marketing work for Equal, GRP was asked to compete in a pitch for the "Men who have Sex with Men" project for GG&C for 2009.

Speaking of the win, creative director, Martin Cross, said: "Over recent years we’ve developed quite a reputation for sex at GRP. To be more precise, we’ve earned a great track record for social marketing and advertising relating to sexual health. So we’re delighted to report we’ve won the NHS Greater Glasgow and Clyde Men who have Sex with Men project for 2009.

"Our earlier sexual health work for NHS Greater Glasgow and Clyde and other NHS areas has included campaigns and projects for the lesbian and gay communities, condom distribution for the general public, and a multi award-winning project including books and online for young people."

This year’s Men who have Sex with Men activity will focus on the resurgence of HIV in the gay community and will promote a safer-sex message about condom use and regular HIV testing.

Creative work will appear in both the general media and gay venues and publications.
