Automotive manufacturer Subaru has appointed Palmer Hargreaves Wallis Tomlinson (PHWT) to its list of marketing agencies.

The Leamington Spa office of the company has been tasked by the company’s new international marketing director, Kenyon Neads, to work on its offline UK marketing activity.

Midlands’s agency PHWT previously handled the Subaru business for many years until losing a pitch to MCDB in 2005.

PHWT was the incumbent on the sister Isuzu account which, like Subaru, is distributed by the West Midlands–based International Motors.

Randy Weeks, PHWT UK managing director, commented; “There’s no doubt that these are tough times for every car brand and PHWT has extensive automotive experience can be brought to bear. I am looking forward to working together in these challenging trading conditions.”

One Black Bear handles Subaru’s online and DM work while the company also works with Miles Calcraft Briginshaw Duffy and media agency Brilliant Media.
