Media Quarter to grow 45-strong team significantly

Media Quarter is expanding as it hunts for nine new staff at its Glasgow headquarters following a strong start to the year for the expanding media agency.

Media Quarter’s four companies – Triple One Digital, Triple One Media, Triple One Publishing and Triple One Mobile – have won a raft of new business are now looking to appoint staff across a number of areas.

Strategic marketing manager; business relationship executive; information manager/data specialist; creative web designer; new media business analyst/project manager; digital marketing specialist; web designer; IT network/hardware engineer; and accounts clerk/administration assistant are all being sought by the Glasgow-based firm.

Mike Hartley, business development manager at Media Quarter, said: “We’re delighted with the way the businesses are growing at the moment and really looking forward to attracting even more of the best creative talents in Scotland to Media Quarter.

“There’s a real energy about our business at the moment which the industry seems to be picking up on, judging from the number of CVs we are getting from some really bright people who want to be part of our team.”

Media Quarter has a staff of 45 and is expecting turnover to reach £5m this year.

New business this year has seen Triple One Digital revamping Setanta’s website and designing the e-commerce site for Scotland’s newest music festival, Homecoming, while Triple One Media and Triple One Mobile looked after the marketing and advertising for the event. Meanwhile, Triple One Media has won accounts for Scottish Motor Auctions, Craftsman Cladding, Archers motor group, and Tulloch Homes.
