Prater appoints IAS PR division

Building envelope contractor Prater has appointed IAS b2b’s public relations division to handle its external communications briefs.

The company, which has supplied design and construction solutions to the building industry for over 50 years has tasked the Leeds based agency with develop a PR strategy to re-position its brand to its key target audience.

Rob Morrice, managing director of IAS b2b, explained: “Although firmly established in the building and construction market, Prater may have been perceived as a roofing contractor, even though it is a proven provider of total building envelope solutions.

“The industry is going through a challenging time at the moment and it’s great to see a brand like Prater biting the bullet and using effective PR to strengthen its position and stand out against the competition”.
