Coors Scottish restructure is completed

The restructure of the sales and marketing department of Coors Brewers in Scotland has been completed.

The restructure was completed with the recruitment of 12 brand development executives at the beginning of the month who will drive sales in outlets by increasing brand visibility and driving volume of sales by implementing brand activity and coordinating POS in outlets.

The Scottish office is currently headed up by director of sales Paul Miller who oversees another 33 posts across three on-trade teams.

Richard Maltly, field sales controller will manage the field sales team which consists of two managers who each oversee six brand development executives.

These recruits will work across four accounts, In-direct supplied accounts, Multiple On-Trade account, regional Pub Groups and Off-Trade accounts.

Meanwhile, Barry Halsman, free on-trade direct regional sales manager oversees four Scottish Sales manager, one regional account manager and three account managers.

Yvonne Starrett, wholesale partnership manager heads up the Wholesale Indirect Supplied Team, supported by two wholesale managers.

There is now also a marketing team based in Burton with two people focused on Scotland, Laura Mitchell, senior brand manager and Shona Pollock, brand manager.

The move has been made as Coors looks to grow its market share to 15% over the next two years following the departure of Miller Draft out of Scotland.
