Following a four-way pitch with RBH, KLM and Cogent Elliot, Warwick Castle has appointed Liverpool based agency Finch to reinvent the heritage destination.

Finch has been tasked to produce a range of above the line work which will drive up visitor numbers to the castle this year.

The first work will be a new TV ad which will be broadcast in the run-up to Easter.

Georgina Kelly , head of sales for Warwick, said : “We were looking for an agency that could help visitors re-assess a visit to the castle and show that it is the perfect day out for today’s family”.

Paul Brown, creative director of Finch, commented: “As the UK's ultimate castle experience, Warwick is a real 'full-on', exciting family adventure that captivates your imagination. From sword fighting to jousting, eagles to dungeons and not forgetting the princesses, there’s so much material for the TV commercial we could easily make a full length feature film."

Finch joint-MD Tim Crutchley said: “This is a significant win for the agency and has taken the best part of a year to land. It’s a fantastic brand and continues to attract visitors from all over the country and internationally. We’re really looking forward to the challenge of giving the castle national star status again”.
