Following its help to organize a screening of the latest James Bond movie for charity Nordoff-Robbins Music Therapy, Brazen has been appointed as the client’s PR and events partner in the North West.

The screening held at the end of last year raised thousands of pounds for Nordoff-Robbins Music Therapy with the majority of it used to provide and promote the skilled use of music with individuals, groups and communities within the North West who are challenged by disability, illness or injustice.

The agency already has a number of ideas for the year ahead to raise more finance and awareness for Nordoff-Robbins in the North West.

The charity, which is headed up in the North West by local businessman Howard Sharrock, has raised approximately 350k in the region alone since it was set up in 2002.

Donations have helped create an MA in Music Therapy at Manchester University, a Therapeutic Use of Music course at Chethams School of Music and the delivery of hundreds of music therapy sessions throughout the region.

Sharrock commented: “I was delighted to have the support and experience of the team at Brazen which contributed much to the success of the Quantum of Solace gala screening. They proved an invaluable addition to my resources and displayed a stead-fast commitment to their pro bono work.”
