Edinburgh design agency, Lewis Creative Consultants, has developed a corporate identity for the new bio-technology company, Recyclatech Group Ltd.

The startup company, a collective of science specialists, business professionals and financial experts, has developed a unique patented technology which enables the reprocessing of waste rubber products, including used tyres, into a reusable rubber form via economic and profitable means and without any environmental impact.

The graphic design team at LEWIS initially explored ten possible approaches which were presented to the client. The identity chosen, created by designer, Scott Millar, is a graphical solution that aims to subtly convey the impression of a tyre tread and uses the eco-themed colours of green, yellow and blue set within a strong, black cube.

The chosen design was then further developed to offer black and white, 2-colour and 4-colour alternatives.

CEO for Recyclatech, Bill Findlay, commented on the success of the developed corporate identity saying, “Lewis were able to take our thoughts and business overview and explode that into various themes. Their approach was friendly and professional and we are extremely happy with the end results."

Lewis digital team are currently working with Recyclatech to develop and build a new online presence in the form of a .net driven website which is planned for launch this March 2009. The newly developed Recyclatech identity will be publicly unveiled at this time.
