Mitsubishi Pencil Co. appoints Connect PR

Mitsubishi Pencil Co., owner of the uni-ball pen brand, has appointed Connect PR as the lead agency for its 2009/2010 public relations campaigns.

Midlands-based Connect will work alongside the brand to deliver sustained PR campaigns over the next 12 months and will focus on promoting the company's latest innovations.

Stuart Barker, marketing manager at Mitsubish Pencil Co., said: “This is an important time for uni-ball as we are launching a number of exciting new product lines into the market and looking to confirm its high standing within the market place.

“In our discussions with Connect we felt that they had a real grasp of what makes our products so unique and their experience sat extremely well with our market ambitions."
