Leicester City FC has turned to Big Communications in an effort to help enhance the club’s commercial objectives.

Big was appointed without pitch, although it is understood that a few agencies were spoken to prior to any decision.

As a result, Big will work on a through-the-line campaign which will break later this morning and will include outdoor, advertising, literature and digital meaning that all divisions including Fuse and Spark will be involved.

The initial contract will run until September 09 with the possibility of renewal.

Dylan Bogg, executive creative director and managing partner of Big, said: “As a Leicester lad myself, I couldn't be more delighted and proud to be working with Leicester City Football Club. They are an extremely professional organisation with some clear views about what needs to be achieved which makes for a very strong start to the relationship.

“Big Communications is an agency filled with great talent and plenty of dedicated Leicester City fans too; combining the two, we couldn't be better placed to help the club get to the heart of its audience to achieve its commercial objectives.”

Lee Hoos, Leicester City chief executive, explained: “The Big appointment is another step in enabling the club to become more progressive in terms of its commercial and marketing operations.”
