Nominations are being invited from the Scottish creative industries to identify the designer or design team which will collect the Scottish Designer/Design Team of the Year award at this year's Scottish Design Awards.

Scottish Designer and design team nominations sought

All designers and design teams nominated by the deadline of Friday 16 January will be invited to submit a portfolio of their work created during the past year. This portfolio will then be considered by the Scottish Design Awards panel during the judging session that will take place towards the end of February.

This year's judging panel is made up of Mason Well of Bibliotheque Design, Domenic Lippa of Pentagram, Garry Blackburn of Rose, Jim Sutherland of Hat Trick and Jack Renwick of The Partners.

Nominated designers and design teams can come from either agency side or in-house design departments and last year's Design Team of the Year accolade went to Navyblue.

Also, nominations are being sought for the Architect/Architecture Team of the Year, which will also be awarded at the Scottish Design Awards to be held in May.

Any nominations should be emailed directly to the Scottish Design Awards event manager Katy Thomson along with a reason why the individual or team has been nominated to katy.thomson@carnyx.com
