Skyscanner has announced the appointment of Rob Innes to the newly created position of VP marketing at the company.

Innes was previously head of digital at BD Network where he ran a team of 35 digital professionals developing multi platform campaigns for clients such as Nintendo, Coke, confused.com and eBay.

The role has been created to help Skyscanner continue its growth in the field of flight information and help it pave the way to diversify into new markets.

Innes commented: “This is a very exciting time to be joining Skyscanner and the VP Marketing role is a unique opportunity to fundamentally change the travel industry and give customers access to the very best flight and travel information, at the lowest prices, whilst growing a global brand”.

The appointment of Rob Innes comes shortly after the recruitment of Frank Skivington as VP commercial.
