Web design agency Realise has been appointed by Vets Now to create a website which will support its expanding business.

The out-of-hours emergency veterinary care service has so far established 32 clinics, and now needs a web presence in order for it to grow further.

It has asked Realise to deliver a user-centric site with key functionality for vets and pet owners and, significantly, one which is scalable.

Realise was appointed to the task following a competitive pitch involving two other agencies.

Fiona Proudler, creative services director, Realise, said: "This is a very exciting business in a highly specialised field, with two distinct audiences –vets and pet owners.

"The challenge is to build in a rich user experience which appeals to both and reinforces an exciting and dynamic brand.”
