Scottish PR guru Flora Martin has become a director of a new Glasgow PR company which has launched out of Platform PR’s Glasgow office.

Laura Campbell who worked alongside Martin at Platform in Glasgow has launched Aura PR. Campbell will act as MD with Martin as a director.

Martin will also continue to also act as director of Platform PR which she joined in May last year.

Campbell explained the move: “I have been progressing my career over the past eight years in PR and opening the Glasgow office with Flora has given me the confidence and understanding of how to run a business. It’s always been an ambition of mine to run my own PR company and I felt that the time was right to make the move.”

Jane Cumming, managing director of Platform confirmed that while the agency’s Glasgow office was no more, Platform would continue to work with Campbell when necessary.

Aura has also picked up accounts with leather manufacturer Andrew Muirhead & Son, restaurant and bar Alan Tomkins and an ad hoc agreement with Cameron Presentations.
