North East creative agency, the bgroup has launched a new ‘Monsterpreneurs’ campaign, to provide a creative celebration of entrepreneurship in support of National Enterprise Week 2008 and the launch of the first ever Global Entrepreneurship Week.

A specialist in enterprise and entrepreneurship marketing communications, bgroup has built on its previous ‘Anatomy of an Entrepreneur’ campaign, www.anatomyofanentrepreneur.com, to develop a new approach to recognizing the special qualities of an entrepreneur.

The campaign is supported through the www.monsterpreneurs.thebgroup.co.uk website, where visitors can apply to receive a monster poster and play a new viral game to test their knowledge of enterprise vocabulary and ascertain if you can recognise the entrepreneurial monster from within yourself!

Diane Gates, creative director of bgroup said, “The ‘Monsterpreneurs’ campaign is an idea which highlights the many different qualities a modern entrepreneur displays to make it in business. Each of the ‘monsterpreneurs’ gives a lighthearted visual representation of personality traits, such as determination, leftfield thinking, and ability to be open to risk, which help separate the entrepreneurs from the rest of the crowd.”

Involved in Enterprise Week since it first began in 2004, bgroup works on national campaigns such as Make Your Mark, and wide-reaching regional campaigns such as No Limits in the Pennines and Redcar & Cleveland’s “This is…”.

Gates continues, “With ‘Monsterpreneurs’, we wanted to create a different kind of marketing campaign to help showcase not just our understanding of enterprise communications, but to celebrate entrepreneurship in a creative way during an important week in the enterprise calendar. After such a long association with National Enterprise Week we are pleased to witness the first ever Global Entrepreneurship Week take shape this year and look forward to continuing our involvement in the world of enterprise and entrepreneurship.”
