Lloydspharmacy appoints McCanns Birmingham

Lloydspharmacy has appointed McCann Erickson Birmingham as its lead creative and media agency.

The agency has been tasked with growing the brand and taking it forward, while allowing Lloydspharmacy to consolidate all of its marketing work under one roof.

The integrated marketing account which claims to be worth around £4.5 million will include planning, an internal communications programme, digital enhancements and a national television campaign, which will be used to reinforce the brand’s credentials to customers, employees and suppliers.

Meanwhille, the Birmingham office has also created a winter-travel promotion campaign to attract tourists to visit Michigan.

The campaign for Travel Michigan will run across radio and TV as well as outdoor. The campaign will feature the voice of actor and native of Michigan, Tim Allen and is aimed at Chicago and surrounding areas to promote the state as a winter haven.

Billboards will remain in place until February. Print and broadcast ads will run through November and resume in January.
